No Power Over Me

“You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above.”

John 19:11

That piece of scripture is what we should say to anyone or anything that causes us grief…in other words, “…the only reason you can say or do what you’re saying and doing is coz my Dad has allowed you to.”

This truth should be enough to make our life one of ceaseless thanksgiving and joy, because we know that…

  1. …nothing that is not part of God’s will is allowed to come into our lives as long as we trust and obey the Lord.
  2. …God will not let us be tempted beyond what we can handle (1 Corinthians 10:13) and…
  3. …with God on our side we’ve won even before we have started.

It is the most hopeful, pleasant, and glorious thing in the world to know that we have the continuous and omnipotent power of our King working on our behalf and for our benefit, as long as we remain surrendered and believing.

It is indeed amazing the fact that no matter how unjust something that happens to us may be, even if it seems to have come from Satan himself, that by the time it reaches us it is God’s will for us and will ultimately work for our good

My prayer for you today is that you will live a God-centered and fascinating life where you know that all the attacks that Satan hurls at you through the sins of others are not only powerless to harm you but have actually been transformed into blessings along the way…amen!

    thanks for the message.

Everything that happens, God has allowed it for his own glory and purpose.
Who are we to question God on what he does.

    God bless u
