O My Soul

“Why are you downcast, O my soul?  Why so disturbed within me?  Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior.”

Psalm 42:5

On some days, our circumstances and our physical condition feel out of balance.  The demands on us seem far greater than our strength…days like that present us with the choices of giving up or relying on God.

Even if we wrongly choose to give up, Christ will not reject us…we can still turn to Him at any point, and He will help us crawl out of our mire of discouragement.

As we enter this new work week, it is my prayer that we will trust God by relying on His empowering presence.  May Christ infuse His strength into us moment by moment, giving us all that we need to get us through the day…amen!
