Exposure to God

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.”

Proverbs 29:18

Waiting upon God is vital to seeing Him.  And to receiving a vision from Him.  The amount of time we spend before Him is critical, because our hearts are like a photographer’s film…the longer exposed, the deeper the impression.

In order for God’s vision to be impressed on our hearts, we must sit still at His feet…bearing in mind that our hearts are like a lake…the troubled and restless surface of a lake cannot reflect any image…let alone the image of God.

Our lives must be quiet and peaceful if we expect to see reflect the image of God.

It is my prayer that the noise of this world will subside in our souls, so that we may hear the life transforming whispers of God and reflect who He is…amen!
