“In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.”
When we wake up in the morning, we must be aware of God’s presence with us. We may not be thinking clearly yet, but He is.
So many times our early morning thoughts are to anxious ones. But anxiety stems from asking the wrong question: “If such and such happens, can I handle it?”
Truth is we shouldn’t be asking questions at all. We should be claiming God’s promise to be with us and to see us through every situation.
Today if we’ve woken up dreading the day ahead of us…I pray that we will gain confidence through knowing that He is with us and that we will face nothing alone…amen!
