“But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.”
When we take time off to be with God, it shouldn’t be rushed with time-consciousness gnawing at our minds.
It is true that time for us time can be a tyrant, ticking away relentlessly in our minds. However through Christ we must learn to master time. Or it will master us.
We must realize that though we are time-bound creatures, we must seek to meet Christ in timelessness.
As we focus on His Presence, the demands of time and tasks will diminish…and not only will He bless us…He will give us Peace.
As we sit to commune with God today, let us pray that He will erase all our anxiety. Reminding us through the Holy Spirit that there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1). And now it’s time for quiet and meditation.
May He grant us the desires of our heart, that our blessings may show forth at the proper time bringing honour and glory to His name. Amen
