A path of multiple failures

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Psalm 34:17–18.

We can achieve a victorious life through living in deep dependence on God.

But true dependence is not simply asking God to bless what we have decided to do. True dependence is going to Him with an open mind and heart, and inviting Him to plant His desires within us.

I pray that the Lord will infuse within us a dream that seems far beyond our reach…and through that dream, may He lead us on a faith-walk.

Taken one step at a time, leaning on Him at each turn.

This will not be a path of continual success but of multiple failures. Strange?

Not strange…

We usually associate victory with success…not falling or stumbling, not making mistakes…however, it is through failure that we experience growth spurts. Growth spurts nourished by an increased reliance on Him.

I pray that this year we will enjoy the blessedness of a victorious life through deepening our dependence on Him…amen!
