“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
It’s important that we approach life with a keen awareness of who is Boss.
Certainly, we must plan our day and indeed our lives…but in doing so we must remember that it is God who will orchestrate the events of our lives.
On days when things go smoothly, according to our plans, we tend to be unaware of His sovereign Presence.
But on days when our plans are thwarted…be on the lookout for Him! He may be doing something important in our life, something quite different from what we expected.
At such times, rather than get upset and cut Him off, we need to stay in communication with Him, accepting His way as better than ours.
Let’s not try to figure out what is happening…let’s simply trust Him and thank Him in advance for the good that will come out of it all. This is a lot easier said than done and we will fail at it many times, but we must try.
I pray that today we will put our faith in God our Father who has plans for us, and believe Him when He says that those plans are good…amen!
