“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”
As we push on through the year we must view our trials as exercises designed to develop our trust-muscles.
Daily we are faced with fierce spiritual battles, and fear is one of Satan’s favorite weapons…
So as part of our training, when we start to feel afraid, we must affirm our faith in God to deliver us from all situations…and if we do this regularly…just as fat falls off a well exercised body…fear from the devil will flee from us.
Sometimes where circumstances permit, we must speak these faith affirmations out loud, and resist the devil in Christ’s Name…and we must make a point of refreshing ourselves in Christ’s Holy presence, by speaking or singing praises to Him.
Remember that there is NO condemnation for those who belong to Christ…and although the devil claims otherwise…we have been judged NOT GUILTY for all eternity no matter what we have done.
Dear God, help me to truly believe that there is NO condemnation for me since I am in Christ Jesus. Remind me constantly that through Him the law of the Spirit of life has set me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1–2). Therefore despite what the enemy says, I can trust in You Christ, and not be afraid; because You are my Strength, my Song, and my Salvation…Amen.
