“Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.”
Often, as we look at the day before us, it looks like a twisted, complicated path with branches going off in all directions.
And we wonder how we can possibly find our way through that maze.
And therein lies the problem!
The very idea that it is WE who have to figure out the way, suggests that we are refusing to accept…or have simply misunderstood the fact that we have a divine guide.
It’s like having GPS or a map in our possession and yet constantly stopping to ask for directions.
Dear God, help me to give You glory by depending less on me and relying more on You. Especially when my day seems really complicated, please remind me of Your promise to be with me always and to guide me with Your counsel. Amen.
