Lack of faith

“He was amazed at their lack of faith.”

Mark 6:6

A put-down tells more about the speaker than about the victim.

It’s strange that despite the fact that we do not know how we wake or sleep…or how the sun comes up and the ocean stays at bay…many Christians still question whether God performs miracles today.

Some Christians have even concluded that God’s ability to perform miracles is limited to certain denominations or even certain ‘men/women of God’

Such questioning and thinking puts down God, because it means that despite the evidence of the miracle of each of our births, our lives, and all that we survive in this world…we are still not impressed with God. We have become like those of whom Jesus said, “An evil and adulterous generation craves for a sign…”

Our thinking and our attitude say nothing of the power of God and everything about our lack of faith.

Prayer

Dear God, teach me to recognize Your presence in the ordinary encounters of my day…and to notice Your miracles, which You perform for me throughout the day. Amen.

  1. Have Faith In God. Mark 11:22 = God is everywhere blessing us because God is love. The mercy and goodness of God is everlasting so God’s miracles upon us is continues and on and on and on. I pray God put great testimony in our mouth by Christ Jesus. Amen. God loves you. Jesus
